Sam Pong
Sam Pong started an organized beer pong league while completing his undergraduate degree at Marist College. Printing out a weekly league newsletter with team stats and game highlights, this league, known as the Beer Pong Association (or BPA), was the spark that propelled the World Beer Pong Tour into existence. Sam graduated Marist College with a BA in Sports Communication and a 'Masters' in Beer Pong.
Having strong business ambitions, Sam risked everything in June 2009 offering a $25,000 prize at the Atlantic City Beer Pong Championship. The tournament was a huge success therefore Sam decided to up the prize pool for the second national tournament to $50,000, to be held in June 2010 in Atlantic City.
