World Pong Tour Enterprises began the New York Beer Pong Tour in the fall of 2006 with one goal, to promote beer pong as a sport rather than just another drinking game. Since then, the company has become the fastest growing organizer of beer pong tournaments in the world today. What started as a six city NY tour in the fall has become a fifteen city tour in less than one year. The New York Beer Pong Tour gives amateur beer pong players the opportunity to play beer pong in a safe, friendly environment, while competing for prizes such as spring break trips, gift cards and beer pong merchandise.

Founder
Sam Pines, a.k.a. the Commissioner, founded World Pong Tour Enterprises in 2006. A Marist College graduate with a degree in Sports Communication, he possesses years of experience in organized Beer Pong. At Marist, Sam instituted a Beer Pong league and ran a successful, weekly beer pong league.
Having strong business ambitions, Sam started the tour with the vision of having Beer Pong recognized as a sport, rather than just another drinking game. Sam redefines the “American Dream” by becoming one of the few college graduates to follow his dreams, and not take the traditional route of grad school or an entry-level job. Sam currently resides in Briarcliff Manor, New York.

Originally from Westchester County, NY; Peter attended the University at Buffalo for undergraduate studies prior to developing his own marketing, promotions, and advertising company in Buffalo, NY called 'Best of Buffalo Promotions'.
Peter is responsible for all of the print design for World Pong Tour including beer pong tables, flyers, banners, and the graphics on our van. Also acting as the MC at all tournaments, he has coined the phrase we have all learned to love..."Where My Divas At??"
Web Designer/Developer
Born and raised just outside of New York City, John is currently a third year student at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY working towards a BS in New Media Interactive Development (NMID). His major encompasses a wide variety of skills in the New Media sector including web design, graphic design, web programming, flash programming, photography, videography, 3D animation, and many other technologies. John is responsible for all content on the website, including images and the New York Beer Pong Tour logo.
In addition to attending school, John is the founder of AriseMedia.net; a small, personalized web design and development firm located in Rochester and Westchester, NY. He is currently building clientele through word of mouth and real life project development.
