School Back In Session, Manfredo and Lazarus win for 2nd time at Porky's
New York, NY- Nick Manfredo knows what it's like to be the winners circle.. Coming into Saturday's event, not only did he have two career wins, but he was the winner of the biggest WPT tournament ever back in February, where 106 teams competed.
This past Saturday, celebrating his 22nd birthday, he came out with one thing on his mind, his 2nd Porky's win and 3rd career win on tour. Manfredo and TJ Lazarus, both of Levitttown won their 2nd career tournament at Porky's taking out the 46 team bracket.. "I had a feeling we would win today, we came out and played fundamental pong," commented Manfredo after the win..
Manfredo and Lazarus were quick to leave the venue after the win due to Manfredo's birthday celebrations at another bar. The 2nd place team was 'Whateva Man' Spencer Cannold and Brett Donovan.. 3rd Place team was Ray Cleary and Matt Heckman and 4th place was Anthony DeMatteo.. The next WPT tournament will be this Saturday May 17th @ The Big Easy NYC. The spring tour concludes in the Hampton Bays on May 31st.
