NYC, NY - Team Buckets was starting to feel like the Buffalo Bills of beer pong. After placing second in three heartbreaking finals, they came out to Porky's on Saturday with one goal, to end their winless drought.
Led by team captain and Tournament MVP Andrew Gonzales, Team Buckets steamrolled to the finals before taking on Sancho and The Fat Man in the finals. Sancho, needing 2 victories, dominated the first one but the Buckets prevailed in the last game to capture the tournament, and the free trip to Spring Break.
"It felt great to finally come out of here with a win," commented Pat Berna of Team Buckets. "We knew today we had a great chance to win and we finally capitalized," continued Berna after the event.
