Opening night in NYC was a huge success with 64 teams from the tri-state area making their way to Porky's NYC.
Smashing Time Ron Hamilton and Mike Popielarski won the tournament by defeating Slippery Fetus Josh Deford and Mike Sciame in the final series.
'We started off slow tonight but used our momentum to fight off some of the best teams here,' said Mike Popielarski after the event.
'I definitely love the new rules and think we adjusted well,' continued Popielarski.
Prestige Worldwide Deep Chakrabarty and Mike Farley placed third and Zack's in School Nick Manfredo and Christian Diez rounded out the top 4.
The next NYC tournament will be this Saturday at 3 PM at Big Easy NYC.
