64 teams poured into Porky's NYC this past Saturday for WBPT's 2nd qualifier of the season. The competition was intense with many of the top players coming to compete.
'Kiss Da Baby' comprised of Nick Manfredo and Joe Radesco from Long Island took out the Westchester due 'Purple City' Nicky Gats and Pete Cornell.
'It was a tough draw today and we played on the top of our game' commented Nick Manfredo, the tournament MVP. 'Kiss Da Baby', who lost to Purple City in the winners bracket semis, ended up defeating Purple City twice in the finals to take down the tournament.
The semifinalist teams were Eddie Sterchi and Andre Pressly and Robbie Schmalz and Chris Timpson.
Porky's will host the first ever WBPT Co-Ed tournament on Saturday October 3, 2009 @ 3 PM. All teams must be made up of one male and one female player.
