When Craig Cutler and Thomas Vanasse arrived at 3 East Thursday night, they had no idea they'd be leaving with a free trip to Atlantic City. Not your traditional pong players, Vanasse, loaded up with tattoos and cut sleeves and Cutler, a financial analyst, came out with their friends looking to have a good time and meet some new people.
'I just came out to play competitively in a tournament. I never expected to leave winning the tournament,' said Vanasse after the win.
After this win, they plan on making a name for themselves at the upcoming AC Championship.
'This is what May Madness is all about, having new players coming out and playing competitive pong and making a name for themselves,' commented Tour Director Neil Kapoor after the event.
May Madness continues this weekend in Hoboken and New York City.
